You'll be picked up at your boat or plane on Saturday-- and returned (restored!) five days later.

You'll be provided select accommodations in historic walkable James Bay (near the Inner Harbor with its tourist attractions).  Accommodations range in price; we'll tell you what's available--or help you find what you need in your price range, nearby.

You'll have three one-and-a-half hour poetry sessions with award-winning poetry teacher Heather McHugh, and, together with a select few others, deepen your insights into some of the great poems in English.

We'll do an excursion or two.  Whether your passion is for ethnic food or nouvelle cuisine Canadienne, for stately mansions or seaside cottages, for a Victorian Christmas or an ocean sparkle and the world-class year-round gardens, you'll love this town.  Get your taste of Europe without the bigger puddle-jump to Italy or England.  Victoria has TWICE the sun of Vancouver or Seattle-- a mild climate-- and a magical Mediterranean ambiance.  (We throw that in for free.)

On the final celebratory night, you will be treated to cocktails and appetizers-- overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca with its marine traffic and sailboats, its snowcaps and dazzle of sunset.
