Take a break from daily life, get to know sophisticated Victoria BC.  It's a quick seaplane or Victoria Clipper ride from Seattle to Victoria's Inner Harbor-- a ferry from Vancouver or Port Angeles-- or fly into Victoria's International Airport (YYJ).

We'll take it from there.  We'll pick you up at your boat or plane, arrange seaside accommodations (in the town ranked #1 North American vacation destination), provide three morning poetry classes with acclaimed poet/teacher Heather McHugh, and steer you toward some of the best eating this side of the Rockies.  Like jazz or chamber music?  Movies or theater?  Galleries?  Gardens?  A gem of a Chinatown?  Victoria has it all.  (And more literature-lovers per square foot than any other getaway city!)

We'll study some great poetry over our morning croissants, reserving your afternoons and evenings for exploring one of the world's great island cities.  Let an arts-and-islands enthusiast be your guide!
